Online Giving
Online giving will be consolidated onto one platform at a future date; until then, you may choose to give using the options provided below. Thank you for your generosity!
5 ways online giving benefits you and the parish:
It's convenient… You can setup regular giving in an amount you're comfortable with, and have the gift sent when it fits in your budget. No checks or envelopes needed.
It's accessible… You can access online giving methods via website, email, social media or your mobile phone. It allows you to give on the go.
It's safe & secure… Your gifts are automatically transferred to our parish and the online giving program is a federally certified financial program.
It's consistent… With recurring gifts, you can support Mary Mother of Mercy even if you are unable to attend Mass. Consistent support month after month helps sustain ministries year-round.
It's green… Online giving is a gift to the environment because it uses fewer resources, provides you with the green alternative to contribution envelopes, and is an efficient way for the parish to process the gifts.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT ONLINE GIVING
Q. I want to share with my children and grandchildren how important it is to give on Sunday, and if I eliminate envelopes, how do I model this for my children?
A. Your participation in the offertory is an integral part of Sunday Mass and is your opportunity to express gratitude for the gifts our Lord has given by returning a portion of them back. Placing your gift in the offertory basket is an act of worship and an important opportunity to model to others, especially children the spiritual discipline of giving. With online giving, you are still able to place your gift in the offertory when you use the 'Donation Slips'. These are available for you to print-off from this website, and they are small enough to keep in your purse or wallet, so you have them each week when you are at Mass.

Q. I like the idea of eliminating envelopes, but how do I donate to 50/50 without an envelope?
A. Because the 50/50 raffle is considered gaming, the state does not allow us to accept online payments for this. If you no longer wish to receive envelopes but still want to participate in the monthly 50/50 drawing, you can simply place your donation of $10 in an envelope and include the following information:
Name:______________________________________________
Envelope # (optional): _____________________________
50/50 drawing for the month of:___________________
Q. How do I stop my envelopes?
A. It's simple: just call the church office or email us at 219-872-9196 or parishoffice@qas.org.
Q. Which payment methods are accepted?
A. WeShare, OSV, and Tithely have the ability to accept contributions from checking accounts, savings accounts, debit cards, or major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Q. Do parishioners receive receipts for their donations?
A. Yes, all contributions enrolled with online giving can elect to receive receipts via email.
